Our Origins

It's Only Natural is the by-product of a determined mom set on doing better

at what she allows into her home and on her family's body.

 

After becoming a wife and mom, Jessica Rickman learned the hard way that just because something is sold in stores, doesn't mean it is safe or good for you. She took back responsibility for her family's health and learned to read labels and actually know what was coming into her home.

 

She quickly became dissatisfied with what was available to her and jumped head first into the study of apothecary and herbal remedies, falling more and more in love with the art with each miraculous product she created. Her life was changed forever, in all of the best ways. She knew she had found her career path that would last her a lifetime and began more formal studies to become an herbalist and professional skincare and remedies formulator. 

 

Fast forward a few years, and a few hundred made, used, and gifted products later, and Jessica finally took the plunge and started a small business out of her passion, knowing that it could help and heal others. She desires to give families a trustworthy and affordable option and help educate others to feel empowered to own responsibility for their own health and well-being.

All products are made with the best possible ingredients in small batches by Jessica herself. She infuses all her own oils and works hard to make sure each product is formulated with the customers health and satisfaction in mind, never settling for "good enough", Jessica also does all her own branding, packaging, marketing, and really anything else that goes with making this business thrive.

Jessica resides in Ellensburg, Washington on a beautiful farm in a Tiny house her adoring husband built for her  and their wonderful daughter. They are beyond thrilled to be expecting their second in June.
